Funding Needs

It Takes a Village Boulder is in its start up phase and requires first phase development monies. To meet this funding need, the Village must raise their initial goal of $250,000, which will cover the costs of program operational expenses. This will allow us to hire the appropriate staff to create a clearer business plan. These funds will guide the Village to show the need and to serve as a persuasive tool to garner stakeholder support. The Capital Campaign goal of $12,000,000 for total project costs of land acquisition, construction and the first year of program operation expenses looks daunting, but in order for the Village to show funders the uniqueness of this important social program, it must implement this Plan by investing time and energy to strengthen the fundraising efforts. As the Plan progresses and begins to show results, it will gather momentum and the Village will be able to build upon its successes. The yearly costs for operation are estimated at $800,000. It Takes a Village is now involved with grant writing and looking at many different funding sources which includes government entitlement programs for children and for older adults.

There are many ways you can help!  Thank you so much!

Volunteers

We are always in need of advisors on all phases of the project, people who love to volunteer time in paper work, grant writing and other needs to keep our project moving in the right direction. This will change as we grow.
